THE ROLE
As the HR Business Partner, your mission will be to ensure the successful execution of multi-unit HR planning, staffing, training, performance management, compliance, employment relations, and HR communications as needed. A strong presence with HR technology is welcomed, a curiosity for data analytics, a passion for building relationships, and partnering with diverse groups of associates and management. The substantial mentality to be proactive and predictive in developing solutions.

Will consult, advise, and collaborate with management at different levels as required on policies, training, and regulatory compliance
Keen interest and experience with recruitment oversight.
HR technology implementation a big plus
Strong presence with process improvement and developing SOP’s.
Comfortable establishing expectations and holding stakeholders fully accountable
Be a champion of performance management, including training, documentation, disciplinary action, inspection, including termination of employees.
Strong presence of mind in managing employee relations that may include employee complaints and investigations and related disciplinary matters.
Good verbal and written skills. Well-polished in front of groups. Successfully created and presented presentations to a variety of operational staff.
Really good at Project Management and execution of details
Be a strong advocate and support for managers by providing consultative guidance to help drive HR practices.
Consult and advise management on all wage and hour compliance with employment, including California and Federal statutory regulations.
Perform annual HR Audits. Validate effectiveness and deficiencies with recommended best practices
Manage worker’s compensation claims to control costs and facilitate employees’ return to work. Perform routine inspection of root cause analysis of workers’ compensation issues.
Partner with Store leadership on workforce planning, including staffing levels and current job descriptions.

Power user with technology, Microsoft Office Excel (Pivot tables, Formulas), HRIS, PM, ATS

Passion for training partnership (design and facilitation is a bonus)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Undergraduate degree required.
Eight plus years of progressively diverse and robust employee relations experience
Five plus years of Retail experience makes you highly desirable
PHR, SPHR Certification is always welcomed
